Artist talk: Hadassah Emmerich

Hadassah Emmerich (°1974, Heerlen, NL) is voor een periode van 3 maanden terug in Antwerpen, waar zij al eerder een studie volgde aan het HISK (1997 – 2000). Tijdens haar residency periode in AIR Antwerpen werkt ze o.a. aan de voorbereiding van haar tentoonstelling in de Elisabeth Kaufmann galerie in Zürich, Zwitserland, waarbij vooral

werken op papier centraal staan.

Tijdens de artist talk zal ze spreken over haar werk van de afgelopen jaren: de fascinatie voor het exotische, de muurschilderingen, reizen en op locatie werken.

For a period of 3 months Hadassah Emmerich (°1974, Heerlen, NL) has returned to Antwerp, where previously she studied at the HISK (Higher Institute for Fine Arts (1997 – 2000). During her residency period in AIR Antwerpen she is also working on the preparation of her exhibition in the Elisabeth Kaufmann gallery in Zurich, Switzerland, with the main focus on works on paper.

During the artist talk she will talk about her work of the past years: the fascination with the exotic, the wall paintings, travelling and working on site.
